This will be my 15th year growing the MO in the name of men’s health, and certainly something I am proud to be a part of, mostly because I know where the funds go and Movember has a way of getting men to talk to each other.

This year I have decided to enlist a bit of help by starting a team ‘Deluxe Motivators’ and have already got some family and friends interested, so please feel free to jump on board and help us out.

20161114_091246Along with the support I hope to gain from people wanting to get behind this great cause and make a tax deductible donation, Deluxe Wheelie Wash will donate $5 for every new client that signs up for a bin cleaning service from now till the end of November. So if you have friends or rellies that have stinky bins, now is a great time to refer them to DWW for a bin clean because they will have fresh bins and also be supporting men’s health at the same time.

Movember is taking action.

From humble beginnings in Australia in 2003, the Movember movement has grown to be a truly global one, inspiring support from over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world.

Movember’s success can largely be attributed to the strength of the global community. Regardless of the city in which we live, we’re part of something bigger, united by a commitment to help change the face of men’s health.

We’re the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. We’re addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.

We know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. We’re independent of government funding, so we can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 13 years we’ve funded more than 1,200 men’s health projects around the world.

By 2030 we’ll reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%.
